Stefan Maksymiw,DPT Doctor of Physical Therapy BIO info Stefan graduated from the University at Buffalo, N.Y. in 2004 with his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Two of his clinical residencies during school were devoted to studying manual therapy techniques for treatment of spinal and peripheral joint disorders. Shortly after graduation, he started working in Henderson, N.C. Stefan studied and trained under Diplomats of the Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment method (Mckenzie) which is used to diagnose and treat many different types of spinal disorders. In 2006, he began working in Cary, N.C. and trained with an Osteopathic manual therapist and a Certified Maitland Manual therapist learning advanced manual techniques for spinal and peripheral joint mobilizations along with manual techniques for pelvic disorders.
