Dr. Howard Brown
Dr. Brown graduated with Honors from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California.
He received his Medical Degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Brown completed his Orthopaedic Surgery training at Duke University Medical Center. Following his residency, he completed a one year Sports Medicine Fellowship at
the University of Florida at Gainesville. This was followed by a Joint Replacement Fellowship at the world renowned Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Southern California.
With his unique double fellowship training, he is dedicated to keeping all of his patients, young and old, active at work and play. Dr. Brown specializes in sports medicine, the arthroscopic treatment of athletic injuries of the shoulder and knee, and reconstructive joint surgery, including joint replacement surgery.
He has been elected to the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine along with the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Brown has the added honor of being a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (Board Certified). He is an active member of many international, national, state and local medical and Orthopaedic societies.
Dr. Brown has authored many scientific papers relating to joint and ligament reconstruction in sports medicine and arthritis.
